From 6 to 8 November 2018, Viet Nam delegation led by Deputy Auditor General Nguyen Tuan Anh participated in the 8th Tripartite Meeting among 3 SAIs of Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Deputy Auditor General Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh is making a keynote at the Meeting

Tripartite meeting is the forum of three SAIs including Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam, in which professional knowledge and experience is exchanged and significant issues on auditing practice of each SAI are discussed in order to further promote the cooperation and ties among three countries.

It the meeting SAI Viet Nam presented a report on the tripartite cooperation process so far and achievements of  riskbased financial audits in 2016 and 2018. Deputy Auditor General also made a speech on “Audit of preparedness for the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. He called for an open and proactive discussion and practical information exchange for reasonable solutions and suggestions on high-quality audits, especially audits of preparedness for the implementation of SDGs. He emphasized “this is a pratical topic to meet the global and ASEAN regional concerns which were mentioned in recent XIV ASOSAI Assembly with the theme of Environmental auditing for sustainable development”.

On this occasion, the delegation also paid a visit to Embassy of Viet Nam in Phnom Penh to update the situation of diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
