State auditors are trained on audit of BOT and BT Project

During 13-17 March 2017, a training course on audit of infrastructure projects built under build-operate-transfer (BOT) and build-transfer (BT) contracts was organised by SAV for its auditors in Hanoi. The course was part of SAV’s internal Annual Training Program to support its implementing the Audit Plan 2017. Over 30 auditors from different Specialized Audit Departments and Regional Audit Offices attended the event.

The aim of this training course was to equip state auditors with the knowledge and professional skills in auditing BOT and BT projects which is one of the major topic of SAV audits in 2017. During the course participants were introduced about legal provisions on Public Private Partnership (PPP) in Vietnam. They were also provided with practical knowledge and experience in auditing construction projects by external theme experts. The course included many group work and discussions on possible problems that may arise during the audit process and solutions to address them.
