The Project activities are designed into five components. They inlude (1) Review of audit strategy and auditing objectives of the SAV; (2) Evaluate IT Audit human resources and identify the opportunities for improvement; (3) Develop medium-term IT audit plan; (4) Develop IT audit process; (5) Develop a program and train auditing for key staffs of the SAV. Till now, components 1 and 2 were finished. The meeting is seen as the start of the components 3, 4 and 5 which will be implemented in 2017.
The expected results of the Project are believed that will substantially support the newly-established IT Audit Division under SAV’s IT Centre to discharge its mandate. It also opens new chances for SAV technical staff to get direct accesss to knowledge and skills from America consultants and to exchange audit experience with experts from big private sector auditing firms working in Vietnam.
